9 Ways To Keep The Negativity Away

9 Ways To Keep The Negativity Away

Isn’t weird how for some of us it’s easier to be negative about ourselves or our surroundings rather than have positive things to say?

What is it about negativity that attracts our thoughts to gear towards that kind of mentality?

Yes, a lot of it has to do with self-confidence but on the other hand, I believe stress plays a major role instead. The stress from society, social media, our everyday lives, work, family, friends, or whatever else may be consuming your life can very well attract negativity.

At the same time, just as easy it is to think and speak negatively it’s also easy to think and speak positively too it just takes some practice and consistency.

I’ve known people that have found positive people to be “annoying” but I just never understood why having a positive outlook is seen as a bad thing. What’s wrong with wanting to believe that things can work in our favor?

The answer to that is NOTHING!

Lol I just answered my own question – as usual. But please let me know if anyone has encounter someone that is a walking “Dirty Bubble” (spongebob reference lol). They definitely need to be apart of this month’s Self Love Special because they must be fighting some dark, dark demons.

For those of you non “Dirty Bubbles” that are just here because they are absolutely in love with themselves (not in a conceded way … entirely) and believe that it is important to take care of out mental thoughts then this is for you.

1. Get rid of negative vibes

The moment you begin to think or say something with a negative tone, immediately switch to a positive mindset instead. Break the cycle!

2. Don’t be afraid to break down

If you begin to feel overwhelmed at some point don’t be afraid to let out your emotions. You will maintain a negative outlook if you keep bottling up your emotions.

3. Do something that makes you happy at least once a day

ALWAYS 🙂

4. Remove ALL negativity in your life

Whether it’s your significant other, job, friends, environment, etc. These can be secretly causing you to remain in a negative bubble. It may seem difficult now but it’ll be healthier for you in the long run.

5. Dance, laugh, smile

OFTEN

6. Take bubble baths, go on solo dates, once a week spa day

Do something that relaxes your mind and enjoy your own company. It’s good to get to know yourself.

7. Find peace within yourself

ALL the answers you’ve been wanting will soon come to you it just takes patience, my friend.

8. Don’t bring work stress home

Whatever problems that occurred doing work hours should stay at work. Don’t bring that negativity home with you! It’s a place to relax and rejuvenate your soul to gain back your strength to conquer the next day.

9. No matter what situation you’re in LAUGH!

It’s the best medicine. I promise 🙂

We all at some point need a “sign” or a “guiding light” to help us find what we are suppose to do.

Let this be yours ❤ .

Don’t feel that you have to be stuck in any negative situation because there is always a way to get out.

I love you all and I’ll see you soon.

Stay Wild,

Bedhead Nomad
