7 Things You Need to Stop Doing if You Want To Succeed

Success is something we all crave whether we are born into it or not. That’s what makes us human. We want to be proud of ourselves while also proving wrong to those that have doubted us from the beginning.

The thing is, you can’t just think about wanting success and do nothing expecting it to come easily to you. It’s a small and very rare chance that’ll happen … trust me I’ve wanted that to happen to me; maybe then I would know sooner what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

But there’s no need for me to dwell on the past.

I always believe to be successful it is more than having millions of dollars in your bank account or owning five of the most expensive foreign cars in your garage. Not that those aren’t nice ideas, I wouldn’t mind having them pop into my life.

But to me, success is a self-fulfillment.

It’s an internal gratification, a way of proving most importantly to yourself that your crazy and wild dreams can come true. You get to accomplished what everyone told you was impossible.

The thing is nothing is impossible. Seriously, just think about it.

The only reason it’s “impossible” is because we doubt ourselves and take in the negatives comments over the positive ones. It’s easier to ignore our gut rather than believe in it.

When really it’s all in our heads.

The main ingredient you need above all else, is to believe in yourself. Believe that you deserve to be happy and to make all of your dreams come true.

I mean, just look at the amazingly beautiful creation Walt Disney made. He had a rough start but he kept moving forward without looking back. That’s pretty inspirational in my opinion.

Yes, money and material things are nice to have an abundance of but when you look back at the success you created for you and your family, you want to be able to smile and be proud of yourself for fighting as hard as you did to create your dream.

To create your dream, lets begin by letting some of our bad habits go. You can’t create an empire if you’re doubting yourself every step of the way.

So, here are 7 things you need to stop doing if you want to succeed.

1. Don’t be inconsistent

Make goals/ routines and stick to them EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. If it helps make a list of your goals/ routines so you can physically check them off as you go.

2. Don’t feel like you failed or be hard on yourself

If things don’t go the way as planned that doesn’t mean your dream is over, it just means you got to make a different approach.

3. The meaning of success isn’t to have tons of money or have the biggest house or nice car

It’s about reaching each and every goal you set for yourself – even the small ones ( I made my first five cents on my affiliate marketing and it was my happiest moment ever).

4. Don’t blame yourself or make excuses

Just get right back up and keep going. There’s no reason to look back ALWAYS look forward. You will get there.

5. If you don’t love what you’re doing you won’t ever fully succeed

Get inspired by the things or people you love, don’t force it to happen. Let it be something that makes you so happy that you smile just thinking about it.

6. Don’t ever settle if it doesn’t make you happy

Always fight for what you believe in even if you end up standing alone. Think about it, you get to create your dream the way YOU visioned it rather than through someone else’s vision. Now that is worth fighting for.

7. Don’t get distracted by the little things

No matter the circumstances (say, financial issues or something doesn’t go as planned) always stay focused. “Problems” always have a way of working themselves out so don’t waste your energy sulking in it.

What ever your dreams are, make sure to either write it down or keep it in the back of your thoughts. Let that be your guide for the choices that you make in life.

Do you have something you would like to add to the list? Write it in the comment section! I would love to hear your thoughts.

All of you beautiful souls deserve for all of your dreams to come true just don’t forget to put some work into it.

I love you all and I’ll be seeing you soon.

Stay Wild,

Bedhead Nomad
