January is almost over, which means Vday is around the corner. Yes, we single hotties tend to dread this day, but you shouldn’t. Really. This day is notorious for creating pressure to live in this fantasy where you’re supposed to be showered in flowers, chocolate, teddy bears, yadda, yadda, yadda. But ya know what? It doesn’t have to be! Don’t get me wrong, having a day dedicated to spending time with your partner is beautiful, but if you’re single, that doesn’t mean you have to miss out too. Being single can be just as fun as being in a relationship. So grab your friends or your fav person, and let’s create a rad Valentine’s day ❤️🔥.
1. Picnic with Friends
Send out a group invite to your friends to meet at the beach (or park) stat. Have everyone bring their fav drinks, snacks, and chill vibes. Bonus points if you’re able to create a bonfire!
2. Baking Party
Valentine’s Day is known for ALL the sweets 🍫 so it only feels right to bake your heart out. Create a dessert bar menu, pop the champagne and crank up the tunes. Regardless of how they turn out, you’ll make the best memories with your day ones. Bonus point if you can get your hands on a film or disposable camera!
3. Fine Dining with Your Pals
You don’t need to be in a committed relationship to go on a fancy date. Fck that! Instead, book a resy at your favorite restaurant or a restaurant you’ve been dying to go to but didn’t have a date to go with. Grab your pals, dress to the nines, and have a fabulous bougie night. Bonus points if there’s an outfit theme for your group!
4. Send Your Friends Flowers
You don’t need a man to send you flowers! Brighten up your friend’s day with a special bouquet delivery. Bonus points if the flowers are delivered with a cheesy box of chocolates or a teddy bear!
5. Movie Marathon Night
You don’t have to play cheesy rom-com movies for your marathon….it can be whatever theme you like. Obvi, there should be popcorn, drinks, and candy. Bonus points if everyone brings their favorite movie!
6. Game Night
Have everyone bring their favorite game to play. Even better if the game requires teams. And of course have snacks, drinks, blah, blah, blah. Bonus points if you invite your crush to hang out… and if the game Twister is involved 😏.
