7 Affordable Valentine’s Day Date Ideas

7 Affordable Valentine's Day Date Ideas

February has officially arrived and we all know what that means!

Grab your favorite loved ones and take them on a date they won’t forget.

Even if you’re not keen on celebrating Valentine’s Day as a whole, it’s nice to feel special every once in a while. These dates ideas are perfect for anyone on a budget or just wants to keep the day low key.

It’s not always about buying the most expensive jewelry or dining at a five star restaurant that’ll blow someone away. The best dates in my opinion are the ones that you’ll remember forever and are the least expensive to do.

So get a little creative and use these ideas as a basis for your special date with whom ever you choose to spend it with.

I love you all and I’ll talk to you soon. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone ❤️

1. Picnic in the park

Or the zoo or  the forest during a hike.

2. Baking cookies from scratch

There’s nothing else better.

3. Volunteer at the animal shelter.

The fur babies need some lovin too.

4. Spend the night under the stars

If you have a pick up truck or a car that has a an open bed, grab some blankets and pillows. You can also go the traditional route and use a tent instead.

5. Convert your living room into a blanket fort

You get bonus points if you have a fireplace 😉

6. Create a scavenger hunt in your town

Grab your favorite people and create a list of things to find all over your town. Don’t forget to document your finds with pictures – or it doesn’t count.

7. Create a DIY “drive in” theater in your backyard

If you don’t have a backyard use your living room instead. Set up your laptop or a projector screen and blow up pool floaties (like the classic unicorn or doughnut) to relax in during the movie. Don’t forget your snacks and blankets!
