Self-Love & Happiness 2018

How To Maintain Self-Love and Happiness in 2018

Well guy’s January is slowly coming to an end but I also feel like it wasn’t that long ago when the New Year had arrived.

Or is it just me?

I hope that many of you are still sticking to your New Year’s resolutions and that you’re not slacking away (Yes, I’m talking to you). I’m proud of you for sticking through till the end of the month.

Give yourselves a round of applause and celebrate all of your wins – even the small ones. It takes courage to go after your goals and fulfill them it’s something not many people have the guts to do… like a lot of people.

Your going to have some tough times and I’m sure for some of you, you have already experienced some of that but this is also a good sign. Your fighting for your dreams what ever that may be and for all of the amazing things to come, we have to learn to be patient.

Once you reach the top of what seems to be an endless mountain you’ll be proud of yourself for sticking through till the end.

Nothing is ever really impossible if you believe it’s not but it will always seem so if you find every excuse for things not to work. There is always a way for things to work out and usually the answer is a lot simpler than you would expect.

Of course, when the answer does come and it does end up being simple don’t be so hard on yourself. Think of it as a new lesson you have learned because what is life if you’re not learning something new everyday.

Remember to remain positive even in the darkest of moments because your mentality is what is going to get you through the unknown path you’re creating. All the answers you are wanting will come too sometimes it just takes stepping back from the situation, taking a deep breath, and letting of the negative thoughts go.

Pamper yourself at least once a week and it can be something small like taking a bubble bath or baking your favorite desserts. Most importantly, remember to laugh daily even if it’s by yourself because who cares! It helps relieve your anxiety and reduces your stress and believe it or not it’s quite therapeutic making it cheaper than going to a therapist.

I’m also about those bargains 😉

The last thing that I feel is important for everyone to keep in mind is that your goals are meant to shape you into a stronger person so if your intentions with your goals is to make someone else happy over yourself then you won’t truly succeed.

The one thing that I just recently learned in the past few months is this, if your dream makes you happy in a way that benefits you and makes you want to work hard despite the challenges then it’s worth fighting for.

Giving up half way through isn’t an option if the goal you’re reaching is something you want.

It took me a two years to realize this after constantly putting my efforts to a halt for a few months at a time and not putting in enough interest with my Etsy shop.

I just wasn’t in love with that dream enough to fight like hell for it and sometimes it takes awhile to accept that, at least it did for me.

So be absolutely, passionately, madly, crazy in love with your dreams and then create goals for them. There is no goal you can’t achieve you just have to be crazy enough to believe that YOU can make it happen.

This is the year to give yourself all the love you need because you’re important and deserve every bit of greatness.

Remember that.

Until next time, my friends.
