Ahhh Fall is finally here! It’s really my favorite time of the year probably because it brings a cozy feeling to the air. I just want to put on my cozy socks, grab a blanket, and eat a yummy bowl of homemade chili. YUM!
Most importantly though, let’s talk about the fashion. I mean, come on! Next to all of the other fall things like pumpkins and the cool weather comes the chunky sweaters and booties. Lets admit the higher the boots the better 😉 .
So without further adieu here are my top ten favorite must haves for fall.
1. Nail Polish
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Heavy Metal. Not only is it perfect for fall but it also looks classy and edgy at the same time. It just makes you want to throw your hands and peoples faces so you can show those sexy nails off .
I am absolutely obsessed with scarves! Like we are basically soulmates. It’s great. Every time I see a scarf that I’m in love with there is no doubt that it’s going straight in my basket.
Ankle booties, knee high booties, and thigh high booties. Ooh My! ( I know that sounded so cheesy but lets just roll with it). Basically, boots in all lengths are just perfect in the fall to pair with any outfit you put together. They just compliment everything so beautifully (sigh).
Lets all be real here and say the chunkier the sweater the better the sweater. AMEN! Fall just wouldn’t be the same without being all cozy in your sweater near a fireplace drinking your hot coco …. I mean pumpkin spice latte 😉 .
Beanies are just cool. They can make any outfit look edgy and fun while also hiding your bad hair day. Really it is just a win win all around.
6. Chap – stick
Since moving to the Pacific Northwest I have come to experience the true dry climate which never occurs in Florida … like ever. So moisturizing has been very important in my beauty routine for sure. I don’t really have a specific chap – stick preference as I have the Vaseline one in my makeup bag and the EOS by my bed at all times so, any one will do.
7. Crew Socks, Knee High Socks, Thigh High Socks
Like the boots I also love socks in all lengths. I especially love the soft and fluffy socks to wear around the house which I would also pair with a beanie (naturally of course). What makes the perfect pair though, is wearing either your knee high or thigh high socks with knee high or thigh high boots. They’re just a match mate in heaven and my total weakness!
Oh flannels, they’re just the definition of fall and it just wouldn’t make sense not to wear them during this time of year. They’re comfy enough to wear around the house (pair them with your socks and beanie because … fall) but can also look cute paired with jeans and booties for your brunch date.
9. Ripped Jeans
These are my other weakness. Most of my jeans look like I ran through a lawn mower ( DIY Project Idea) . What I love about ripped jeans is that they can be worn casually with a cute sweater or cardigan but they can also be dressed up and add a flirty, sexy vibe for your hot date (Go Girl!) or girls night out. Even if your not a big fan of the lawn mower look it wouldn’t hurt to have one pair – you wild thing you 😉 .
10. Dark Lipstick
I’m going to be honest here and say I have yet to try a dark lipstick but I absolutely love the look of them! They just set the tone for fall with any outfit while also giving off a sultry and mysterious vibe … which I love! I’ll definitely have to try some out and share my thoughts on how I personally feel about them on me. But for now, all you beautiful people rocking this sexy look – it looks gorgeous on you!
Fall just gets me excited and I can’t contain myself. I hope it brings you the same joy too! Tell me in the comment section what is your favorite fall trend because I’m curious to know more about you guys. I hope your fall has been epic so far and I’ll see you guys soon.
